Our Category 8.1 Ethernet cable, also known as Cat8, supports 25/40 Gigabit Ethernet and provides performance of up to 2000MHz and is suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-T / 1000BASE-TX (Gigabit Ethernet), 10GBASE-T (10 Gigabit Ethernet), 25GBASE-T (25 Gigabit Ethernet) & 40GBASE-T (40 Gigabit Ethernet). It is backwards compatible with previous standards such as Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5. The cable is Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) which reduces the amount of toxic and corrosive gas emitted during a fire.
